Press "Ctrl A" on the keyboard for the "Magenta/Blue Filter" that you have just finished processing. This will select the entire image.
Then press "Ctrl C" on the keyboard to copy the entire contents of the selection to the clipboard. i.e. the entire image.
Switch to the other "Yellow/Blue Filter" image that you processed two steps ago in this tutorial. It will be the other image that you have opened earlier.
Then press "Ctrl V" on the keyboard to past the entire contents of the clipboard into a new layer overtop of the image you have active.
Right click on name of this new layer you have just pasted in the floating "Layers" tool window.
Navigate the popup menu to "Blending Options".
You will get the following popup dialog box. Adjust the "Opacity" slider to "50" % and press the "OK" button.

The final result should look something like this. Note the slight color change on the land. Rather than being a sharp greenish-yellow, or a rich magenta-red, it is now a more realistic color, with a pleasant mix of both hues, though not drab looking either. It still retains the vibrant colors of a true color Earth.

Click the little circle that contains the small arrow pointing to the right in the floating "Layers" tool window.

Navigate the menu control "File->Save As..."
Click on the image for a larger view.
Choose the final resting place for the image, give it the appropriate "Path###Row" designation and set the file format to be ".bmp" as shown in the image below.
NOTE: I have created a folder just for tile work relating to Cuba. This is how most of our work will be split up by region, state, or country. It is advisable for you to keep these regions in separate folders.
Click the "Save" button to save the file, then check the output options and click "OK" in the resulting (now familiar) popup bmp options window.
