Finally we are ready to save the file. Navigate the menu control "File->Save As".
Navigate again to a special folder where you will contain all your final SRTM image products.
The file name should should have the same as when you extracted it. Add the phrase "_MASK" to the end just before the file extension.
See image below for an example. Click the "Save" button.
Here is a jpg version of the final mask I made for the purpose of this tutorial. You can compare it to yours to check for accuracy.
