There are two ways you can undo changes made in Photoshop.
One is to navigate with the menu "Edit->Undo [Action]"

Or, you can use the "History" floating tool window shown below.

Click and drag the slider to the left of the recorded action, and drag it upwards to the previous action (in this case "Paste").
You can also click and drag that "Invert" action itself and drag it down to the mini trashcan icon at the bottom right corner of the "History" floating tool window.
