Simply click and hold in the center color box, then drag your mouse to the far upper left corner.
The values R: G: B: standing for Red, Green and Blue respectively should change to:
R: 255
G: 255
B: 255
This is a representation of pure white.
For black click and hold in the center color box, then drag your mouse to the far bottom left corner.
The values of R: G: B: should change to:
R: 0
G: 0
G: 0
Alternatively you can enter these values directly into the fields on the bottom right of the popup "Color Picker" dialog box shown above.
Click "OK" to finalize the color selection and load it into memory as the foreground color.
