Again, you have the mask layer selected.
Navigate the menu control "Image->Adjustments->Invert" or just press "Ctrl I" on your keyboard.
This will make the white oceans black, and the black land white.
Right click on the Mask layer region highlighted below, in the floating "Layers" tool window.
Select "Blending Options" from the popup menu.
You will get a dialog box like the one in the image below.
Under the section "This Layer", click and drag the right white slider to the left. A value of "2" is good.
Click "OK" to finish the merging of layers.
Now you can see how this all works out.
