Your screen will change to look like this:

For this exercise we will zoom in on the San Francisco Bay Area. Make sure you have the zoom tool selected upper left, should be default.

Then click on the San-Fran Bay Area.

NOTE: You don't need to click and drag. Single click should do the trick.
